Ash Wednesday is an annual service in the history of the church designed to launch God's people into Lent.  This unique worship service will involve music, teaching, the Eucharist, and a marking of the head with ash.  All of the service is designed to bring us face to face with our mortality as men and women before an immortal God.

During the service all are welcome to come and receive ash in the sign of the cross on their foreheads.  As the priest marks our foreheads with the words: "Remember you are dust, and to dust you shall return.  Turn away from sin and be faithful to Christ", we pray that are hearts would also be marked and brought into an honest place before our creator.
