Here at VIA - Community is one of our great passions. With Christ at its center, the VIA Campout gives us the opportunity to grow deeper as a community. This summer, we are joining the Via Comox Valley family. We look forward to an extended time together to share our stories, worship together and deepen friendships.


$100 Family / $60 Couple / $30 Individual

Special Guest Speaker - Howard Espie 

Originally from Scotland, Howard has lived in Canada for five years. He is married to Charlotte, and they have a little boy, Brennan. Howard is an ordained minister within the Church of Scotland but has found his true ecclesial home in Via Apostolica where he recently entered Holy Orders, being ordained as a deacon during Via Days last month. Howard loves helping people to grow in their life of prayer, serving them into hearing the voice of the Beloved and living their life to the full in God's redeeming love.  He is currently training as an Ignatian Spiritual Director and has a background in psychology and leadership development. Howard enjoys reading, photography, fly-fishing for trout and imbibing the amber nectar from the Island of Islay in Scotland.

Camp Selah -

Camp Selah is a beautiful, private location on the banks of the Puntledge River, just outside of Courtenay.  

What you'll need to bring:

  • Camping Stuff (Shelter, Bedding, etc)
  • Food Stuff (Cooking & Drinking)
  • Recreational Stuff (Field games & Rainy day games)
  • River Stuff (Swim Suits, Tubes, Air Mats, & River Shoes)

Camp Selah Offers:

  • Forested Campsites w/ picnic tables
  • Puntledge River-tubing & swimming
  • Sand Volleyball court
  • Grass Playing field
  • Hiking/walking trails
  • Rope-swings
  • Covered area with fireplace
  • Group outdoor firepit
  • Outhouses and running water
  • Group use BBQ
  • Group use washup sink
  • No Pets Permitted at Camp Selah
